Many of you have been coming to our office over the years asking how to best prevent disease, how to live a healthier life, or how to take control and reverse chronic illnesses. We have also seen many of you struggle with important habit changes, conflicting information on health claims, and feelings of failure when our efforts do not yield the results we want.
Understanding the human body and how it can thrive is our passion here at Authentic Health.
We have not been satisfied with the little attention our medical system gives to prevention of disease, holistic management of chronic disease, and the optimization of the human body. Our modern medical industry is a sick care system, not a health care system. We believe that the human body is designed well and will continue to function well for us as long as we care for it in the right ways.
But, the “right way” is different for each of you. You are unique, and your ability to achieve true health requires an individualized, precise approach.
Therefore, we are excited to announce a new way of providing care to our patients — Precision Primary Care!
With precision primary care, we take a comprehensive and personally tailored approach to achieving your health goals. This includes:
- Genetic Information — we sequence your DNA to find the subtle changes that not only make you unique but also help guide recommendations like what diet is best for you, how well do you create and break down nutrients or hormones, how is the best way you should exercise, and many more.
- Advanced blood data — we go far beyond the standard yearly screening tests to truly understand how your body is working. This helps us to better address your risks of conditions like heart disease, diabetes, inflammatory disorders, and cancer.
- Continuity — We will spend the time necessary to get to know you better, learn your health goals, and create actionable steps toward a healthier life. We will then use health coaches and regular office visits to track your progress along the way.
We believe this to be the future of medicine and vitally important for primary care.
