Cullen is a native of North Carolina but attended PA school at the University of Florida. She also has a masters in Counseling psychology. She works at the Biltmore Clinic, is married to a great man and has a daughter who is professor at Sewanee, the University of the South.
She has a wonderful grandson, whom she adores. Cullen is an avid ultra trail runner, and has raced Boston 5 times! She loves her Labrador named Keeper, and absolutely loves living in the mountains.
